Joey Calveri (Ray) returns from Las Vegas where he performed the role of Galileo in Queen's We Will Rock You at the Paris Hotel. He toured with the 1st national tour of Saturday Night Fever (Double J/ Tony Manero) and was seen as (Sky) in the NYC reading of Ty Taylors The Existents. He also toured Europe with West Side Story (Action) and Grease (Kenickie). Other credits include: Trinity Rep's West Side Story (Action), Harlequin's Assassins (Balladeer), and Secret Garden (Dickon), Aven'U Boys (Rocky).
Victoria Dicce (Mary) is thrilled to be part of Only a Lad, and it marks her NY Fringe Festival debut! Previously, he toured Europe in the world premiere of the musical Elisabeth. Jon Rosen (Wolf, Judge, Principal Kellerman) Jon has appeared regionally at The Kentucky Rep, the Meadowbrook Theater, West Virginia Public Theater, The Warehouse Rep, The New Theater, Carousel Theater, Gloucester Rep, among others. In New York he appeared in Lost Highway, the Hank Williams Story at the Little Shubert Theater, and off Broadway in Destinations at the Emerging Artists Theater. He played the piano for Whoopie's Littleburg, a Nickelodeon TV show starring Whoopie Goldberg, Rosie Perez, and others. Jon is currently musical supervisor and arranger in NYC for the first national tour of Urban Cowboy, the Musical, which hits the road in January '07.
Alan Shaw (Ensemble) is making his debut in the Fringe Festival this year. A recent graduate of Circle in the Square Professional Workshop in New York, Alan also attended Interlochen Arts Academy in Northern Michigan. Being active during his summers, Alan has been part of the Tanglewood Young Artist Program in Massachusetts and Culver Military Academy in Northern Indiana. Jenny Weaver (Frank) was born and raised in the glorious state of Texas (Yee-Haw!). Stephen Wilde (Max/District Attorney) recently received rave reviews from John Simon of Bloomberg News and Howard Kissel of The New York Daily News for his portrayal of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marc Connelly in the Peccadillo Theater Company's Off-Broadway hit Talk Of The Town at The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room. He was also recently seen as Shorty in Eugene O'Neill's All God's Chillun Got Wings at NYU's Skirball Center for The Performing Arts. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and The Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia with a Graduate Degree in Acting. He performed for two years on the road in the highly successful national tour of The Music Man, directed by Ray Roderick, and in concerts with the Chicago, Baltimore and Pittsburgh Symphony orchestras under the baton of Marvin Hamlisch. Before moving to NYC to pursue his career, Stephen earned the title of International Quartet Champion of the Barbershop Harmony Society, as high tenor of the group, Joker's Wild. He has performed on the stage of the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia in the critically acclaimed production of Shelter (based on Maxim Gorky's The Lower Depths) under the direction of People's Artist of Russia, Yuri Ivanovich Yeremin. Some of Stephen's favorite musical theatre credits include Charlie Davenport in Annie Get Your Gun, Ali Hakim in Oklahoma! and Jeff Douglas in Brigadoon. Stephen is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The "Grammys") and is a Managing Partner of Naked Voice Records, a record label that specializes in a cappella artists.
